Washington 2010

We decided to take a long weekend and drive up to Washington to visit Mikes Family. We left Thursday night and after 16 hours in the car arrived on Friday morning. We started the day off at the Hangar. It is a restaurant at a little airport so you see the planes coming in and out. It is a really fun place to eat.

We then went to downtown Seattle. And went to Pike's market and the Space Needle. Jake had enough and crashed.
Marcus has a major fear of heights so he didn't go up on the Space Needle. It's 520 feet up. It was a gorgeous day and Mike got some great pictures of the view.

On Saturday, we went to the Northwest Trek. It's kind of like a zoo, but it has animals in their own habitat. They live like they are out in the wild and we took the tram through and saw a ton of animals.

On Sunday, we went to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. The kids had a great time. And so did Mike & I.

They even got to ride a camel.
And we tired Jake out yet again.

We left Sunday night to head back home. We stopped at my Aunt & Uncles house in Vancouver and drove onto Pendelton to sleep.

We had a great time, but we decided next time we go, it has to be longer than 2 1/2 days there :)
