Yesterday our car that we've had for almost 9 years died. We've resurrected it many times this year, but it finally was too far gone to try any more. Fortunately, we were able to find one that was within our price range (cheap!). So far we really like it, and hopefully it will last a few years. It's a little older, but has about 40,000 less miles than ours did when it finally died. It's funny how attached you can become to a vehicle. I almost cried as I left my old van.

It is hard to leave something that has carted your family around for that long, but I hope you grow to love the new one too. Congrats on a new (mechanical) member of the family.
