Disneyland 2010

We had a wonderful time at Disneyland this month. My camera stopped working on the 2nd day there so some of these pictures are really bad quality, and I'm waiting for my mom to send me others.

We left on April 1 and stayed in Primm, NV for the night and arrived at our dump of a hotel on the 2nd. The only good thing about our hotel was that we only had to walk across the street to arrive at Disneyland. We went with my parents, Matt (my brother), Amy (my sister) and her husband, and Mikes parents flew down and met us there.

On Saturday morning we went to Goofy's kitchen. This is one of those things we splurge on. For those of you not familiar with it, it is a lunch where Disney characters walk to your table so you don't have to fight to see them.

They had a Lego store in downtown Disney and Mike had to get a picture taken with Indiana Jones.

On Sunday we went to Lego land. The most exciting part of our trip there was the Earthquake. The epicenter was about 150 miles away from where we were, but the ground rolled for about 1-2 minutes. They shut down all the rides for about 45 mins. to make sure that they were all functioning properly. After this James was pretty scared because the news kept saying to expect at least a 6. aftershock.

Monday was a downpour in the morning time. We were prepared though with our ponchos that we bought last time. Mike & I were given the opportunity to go to Club 33 with Matt, Amy, and my parents. This is a highly exclusive club that you have to have connections with a member in order to get in. It was a wonderful opportunity. The lunch was delicious and worth every Franklin, if you know what I mean. During the time we were there, Mike's parents took the kids out spoiled them rotten.

Tuesday we had early entrance so we spent the morning at Disney and then went to Pofolks for lunch. Then Mikes parents took the kids swimming while Mike did homework & Jake & I crashed for a bit. Then we spent the rest of the evening at California Adventure and ended it off with fireworks over at Disney. They have the most amazing fireworks.

Wednesday we packed up and went over to Disney for a few hours. We hit my favorite ride, splash mountain, and then spent a bunch of $$$ in the shops. We then drove back to Primm for the night.

Thursday morning we got up and drove to Las Vegas and took the kids to the M&M factory and through the MGM and then hit the road to get back home.

We had a great time. As soon as the grandma's send me pictures I'll post more. Most of what I have is from Goofy's kitchen.
