It was just over a year ago that we found out that our Jakey had to have heart surgery. Any surgery is scary, but as a parent hearing that your little 18 month old baby had to have heart surgery was terrifying! We are so happy that the surgery was a success and that he is a happy, energetic, little 2 year old. He goes in again next month to have another echo done to get a good look at his little heart to make sure that everything is still looking good from the surgery and to check out his other little issue (that we hope will we'll never have to tackle). We are so grateful for modern technology and that we still have our sweet little boy!
